I love my boyfriend and I know his the one but there are only two things I can't stand about him:
He smokes weed, even though it for pain (I can't stand it)
and
He's graduated last year and I want him to go to college but he doesn't know what he wants to do!!!! I don't want to be support him after I get done with college

For the weeds, you can do nothing except try to make him reduce his consumation .. if he's addicted, it will be very difficult and you'll have to bear with it...
As for college, try to go through different alternatives with him. encourage him by showing him what jobs he could have if he goes to college, and life would be easier if he got a highly paid job!

Love can be hard thing. Let me start by saying that smoking weed for whatever reason is not a good thing in any relationship because of the outcomes that usually comes when he or she can't get their fix i.e. stealing, lying, cheating, etc. Also, this is an adult and you can't make an adult do anything that he isn't ready to do. If he doesn't want to go to college then you can't make him just cause you want him too. He has to decide when he is ready just like smoking weed for pain. Just cause the 2 of you are together doesn't mean that you have to support him if he doesn't go to college. I mean do you support him smoking weed by giving him money to buy it? Because I'm pretty sure he doesn't get it from a legal doctor. Love don't cost a thing unless you want to pay for it. God Bless and I sugguest that you don't try to force him to do anything that he isn't ready for. It is just going to ruin your relationship.

Those are two pretty big things to not stand about someone. I will tell you the longer he smokes pot (he will always use pain as his excuse to smoke) the worse he will be and he will never go to college or seek out any future goals. You might want to start looking down the road at your ouwn future and maybe he should be kicked to the curb.

Seems like the weed is making him lazy huh? I personally don't care if he smokes but its diff. if he smoked & had responsibilities. He can go to a community school even if he dosen't know what he wants to do, get some credits outta the way. The longer he says outta school, the worse chances are he'll go back.

First, I suggest taking remedial English.
Second, you can't change someone.
Third, in the future, if you ever ask a question concerning your feelings of someone and you us the term 'but' like you did, 99.9% of the time, you should do what you initial gut says, like drop the guy.
You're in HS, that means on average, there are at least 5 other 'the ones' before you hit 27.

I'M SORRY BUT DUMP HIM....IN THE LONG RUN UR ENDING UP DUMPING HIM ANYWAY....OR HE END UP PULLING YOU DOWN WITH HIM. YOU NEED SOMEONE WITH GOALS AND CARES ABOUT THERE FUTURE. Well for starters if he smokes weed for pain does he have a prescription for it? If not its ilegal which makes it wrong! Number two you cant make him do anything if he doesnt wanna go to college he dont have to and you need to accept that! if you dont like it dump him and move on!

well girlfriend i've been there done it-and all i have to say is end it now his addiction will take precedent over anything else in his life...or at least give an ultimatum if you love him that much, and if he loves you he will try to do something about it!!
