Is doing a love ritual for a particular person going against the laws that say do not control anothers will ?

I asked a similar question about love spells and I recieved a good answer which I choose as best answer. I could not contact the person for more information. Hopefuly, that person will see this and respond.

Yes, it is. And it makes you feel closer to them and therefore more willing to accept a relationship that is not meant to be. I truly believe that, if you are practicing the craft, the best way is to only "cast" on yourself. Try to become the type of person who draws the TYPE of person you want to be with to you.

I am very much hoping it is along the lines of what I write below.

As it is incredibly important to cast love spells with respect and a true intent.

One of the most important things to know and respect with Love Spells is that you MUST NEVER divine against another's free will.

In Wiccan terms to do so will invoke the Rule Of Three - that what you do will bring you bad luck three times the magnitude.

And it is not just with Wicca, witchcraft is found in varying forms in just about every culture and religion through the ages of time and today.

And all have this respect for an individual's free will, and believe to ignore and manipulate against that will invite bad luck into your world.

To clarify what would be divining against someone's free will - it would be to specify in a love spell the name of someone and invoke that they respond to you in the way you wish when you cast the spell.

With that said what you CAN do is invite love into your life.

So love spells can be very beautiful at attracting love into your life.

You CAN specify how you want that love to look - as far as the type of qualities the person may possess and how your relationship would be on a day to day and big picture basis.

So you can 'order it up' without specifying a 'who' when you spell cast.

To experience love spells that work for yourself, the key comes back to YOU.

A powerful witch has the ability to cast a spell and make their wish and then feel as if they have what they desire already.

And that is what all who spell cast must do - and we ALL can achieve that.

A witch is not born with powers. They may be born with receptivity to magickal practices due to a history of witches in their family. However they are not born with any more powers than what you may have reading this.

They just know how to use their powers.

And so can you.

So to find love spells that work all you need to do is look into the mirror.

And then when you cast a spell be prepared to truly believe to the point of certainty, that what you want to have happen will.

It is about seeing and feeling as if what you want to have happen has happened already - and so it becomes!

That is the basis of witchcraft & spells.

Like Attracts Like.

Witches work with the energies of the universe.

They put out what it is they desire and have an energy and feeling to match that - so that they feel as if it has already happened.

And that is what results.

You can do this too!

Remember that what you focus on grows. And if when you cast your love spell you are worried, concerned, doubtful or desperate - then it will not work.

As you are casting with fear in your heart. And you will attract back more of the same.

You must cast with an open heart filled with love. If you want to attract love into your life - it is about feeling that love (not need) to begin with.

The only time that a love spell should be done is either a) between consenting people who want their love made strong or b) "in general" to bring love into ones life. To cast a spell on an unknowing individual is in fact manipulating them, and is not proper. What EVER you do, you do it with the purest of thoughts and intentions. Remember.....it comes back to you three fold.

Do *NOT* do a love ritual/spell for someone to fall in love with you. It is going against their free will and will result in lots of negative karma coming back to bite you.

What you COULD do is do a spell to make yourself more attractive. That way, perhaps whomever is out there could find you. And that way, also, you are not manipulating anyone else's free will.

if they are not willing/have not consented directly and clearly, then yes, it is unethical and will come back to haunt you.

you're better off doing a generic ritual that welcomes an appropriate (but unspecified) person.
