am i making a big deal out of this ?please help me?

Question

i work in a hotell and i had to stay there on monday because i was working very early in the next morning. i told my boyfriend that i was stayimg there at like 10 :00pm and i was getting off 2 hours after that . i asked him to come spend the night with me , because i wanted to see him and also he lost his house so now we don't see that often or if we do , we have to be paying for hotels. this was a good oportunity because it was going to be free for us . he told me that it was too late , he was like why didn't you tell me earlier ? he was like i already took a shower and i am getting ready to sleep . i got mad so i didn't talk to him anymore after that . yesterday he tried to talk and i was a ***** because i still mad . was he right ? am i making a big deal ? all i feel is that he is not into me anymore because he didn't care see me or not or spend time with me .. please give me your opinion ! thanks

You are making a big deal here. If I had been showered and on my way to bed i probably wouldn't have wanted to go out either. It probably had nothing to do with wanting to see you or not. He was on his way to bed and another two hours till you would be available.

Yes, you are making a big deal out of it unnecessarily. Don't be so needy. You wanted your way, he wanted some space (or at the very least, some advance notice for the booty call). So what? Maybe he was tired. Give him some breathing room and he'll still be interested but glom onto him as if you own him and he'll resent it and back away. Get over it and have a little confidence.

There is this age-old myth that men never turn down a chance for sex... that is what the media says... brother, if you read through a lot of the questions on this site you know that is not the case. You could be overreacting... the trick is to find out why your guy opted to blow you off... Chances are he does not feel the need to validate your relationship by spending time with you in that way. Sometimes men take women for granted... I would say that you should try avoiding him for a while and then see how long it takes him to come back sniffing at your door. If he goes too long with out even contacting you then you know that he is not interested in you .... find out, then find a good man.

If he really wanted to spend time with you as much as you do him he should have came. But if it was like a long drive and he had to work the next day or something I understand his point of view. But if not, he should have came. Not too many boys would pass up the chance to be in motel room with a girl for free, especially when its your own boyfriend. Maybe your right, he doesnt care anymore. You should find out for sure before you waist anymore of your time

I think both of you are wrong. He was going to bed, so there's no possible way i'd want to get out of bed...when i had just got in it. However, if he REALLY & truly wanted to see you, i think he would sacrafice his little sleeping hr. to spend time w/ you.
Really, i think you're right. It's not becuz i'm a woman & so are you & i'm sure people will say that's why i'm agreeing w/ you. If a guy had asked this question, i would've told him the same. Anyways, if you guys don't see each other alot & it was *FREE, then i don't know why he wouldn't come. I think i'd be quite angry, too. ♥

I can understand why you had orignally gotten upset...but to keep it going for this long?? i think you MAYBE making this into a bigger issue, than it really needs to be...he loves you and you love him, and that is not an subject or matter to be questioned...the guy was exhausted and ready for bed... put yourself in that position, im sure sometimes your just so dead tired that you dont even want to get up to use the bathroom....

just let it go! if he is a good guy and you really love him then just breath and let things happen. maybe he was really tired and just all set for the night and it was too late when the call came... dont stress it and dont take it personally! i am sure that he really was ready for bed and just not ready to pick himself up and go back out!!! call him and apologize and go out tonight!!
