Your hair is only initially in shock for 24 hrs after a chemical service. It will be hard to lift but it is possible. It may not go right to blond though. Maybe you should try lightening but not to a blond. You will see the different colors it will change as you are trying to lighten it. Since you colored it jet black, it will lift red first, then fade into a brown, the start getting into your blondes. Just be careful, because if you had lightened you hair before the black, that light hair is still under there and is already damaged, so you will then be processing over processed hair.

you can pretty much get highlights any time after about three days after you died it black. Use a non-damage HAIR bleach, then put your highlights in. Hope I could help!

Actually, This set you up perfectly. Dying hair darker helps to actually protect your hair, It's like giving to it while bleaching really takes away. This is a great benefit, the only downside is that it can fade.

yes but you will have to do it in stages depending on how light you want your highlights to be. Go to a GOOD salon not a cheapy generic one- they will take better care of your hair.
