You may also want to check that the habitat you have is suitable for bluebirds otherwise you may want to rethink what type of nestbox you want to place. Even with bluebird boxes if you aren't in the right location the bluebirds won't show up. http://www.birds.cornell.edu/birdhouse/bios/
