Thats not how you lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you eat, someone could eat tons and tons of food but if they workout 5 times a day they will lose weight.

Yes I agree with the others- 1200 is the magic number. This is enough to support your organs. Otherwise your metabolism will slow down make every calorie 'count'. I did read that 1100 is okay for those with petite frames but I would eat 1200 to be on the safe side.

Its really different for everyone, but the magic number is 1200 calories. If you stay consistently below 1200 your body will go into "starvation mode" where your metabolism slows down and your body starts to hold on to fat in fear of famine. Go go google and look up a BMR calculator. BMR stands for Basal Metabolic Rate. Based on the numbers your enter it will tell you what your body needs to function and do nothing. Your BMR is just a baseline. I recommend never going below that number.

If you are a servant of Jesus Christ as you claim in your profile, then you must know that Jesus Christ would never approve of what you are intending to do. It's true that Christ fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, but then again, he is God. You're not!

No less than 1,200 a day. Less than that, and your body will be starving and it'll shut down to hold on to all calories and stored fat. That's to protect your vital organs and keep them from shutting down.
