I pressed ALT and the F8 key (at the same time) and it just popped up for 30 seconds and went away again.
It was freaky and had an almost threatening tone.
This ever happen to anyone else?
If not try it and let me know please.
Is it some kind of inside practical joke by microsoft?
Doesn't seem very professional if this were the case.
I HATE practical jokes.

It probably potential the CMOS battery interior your laptop is ineffective and desires changing. Its particularly common, you're taking the hide off of the laptop, and on the biggest board you will see someplace a small battery. Its extra or less a similar length as 1 / 4 (or a 10p for brits). Its a CR2032 battery so you might purchase at maximum supermarkets (extensively utilized for watches and different small electronics) you purely pull the old one and and push the hot one in a similar place (and of path, a similar way up) - next time you boot up you will get that comparable message returned. Press F2 and from thereon all must be nice.

I don't know. In Ubuntu pressing alt F8 will move the window around.
Alt F4 is a time saver. I use it a lot.

Very funny. Anyone with half a brain knows Alt-F4 shuts down whatever you have open. Unless of course you're TRYING to shut down whatever it is, in which case Alt-F4 mysteriously stops working for no good reason.

If you hate practical jokes, why are you hitting ALT + F4? On a Microsoft machine, that's the keyboard commands for a shutdown.

I hit Ctrl F12, and a dozen Oompa Loompas came out from under my desk and started dipping me in chocolate. What should I do?
