yes it is that's why it's called the kisser's disease. It can be passed most commonly through saliva swapping which includes kissing, sharing drinks or spit.

Yes extremely infectious. It is contracted by passing on bodily fliuds, namely the kissing disease. It can be very nasty and even lead to hepatitis A. It CAN be cured, and always is, but leaves you very weak and often depressed.
