Its all a matter of preference. I like big dogs best, but any well-trained dog is a good dog.

That depends on where you live. If you live in an apartment its better to have small dog. If you have a house with a fence and a nice size yard, get a big dog. You should also do some research on the breed your thinking about getting. Some dogs will bark for no reason, or you may find some that are very hipper But no matter what you decide you can't find a better loyal friend. Good luck.

Well, that depends! If you have a big house with a big garden and you also have free time in order to spend with your dog, then a big dog would be great for you and it could also be a guardian for your house. You have to know that big dogs can be really playful and that can cause a big mess inside the house, so, in case you buy a big dog, KEEP him in the garden. Big dogs need a lot of care and sometimes, taking care of them really cost. Otherwise, you should choose small dogs which are really calm and they do not need much exercise. I also think that small dogs live more than bigger dogs. That's my view! Now, it;s up to you!

Good Luck,
Elias

If you have a big yard or live in country a big dog is fine. If you live in an apartment or have a very small outdoor space, then a small dog is the best. I personally love my shih tzu but I also love golden retrievers and labs. I do not think it is responsible to keep a big dog in a small space. They need somewhere to run and play.

I prefer medium size dogs. A small dog is too small to protect me while I'm walking the thing at night, and a big dog has big poops...something I'm not willing to deal with.

If living in an apartment and/or you work a lot, the most important consideration besides size would be the energy level and needs of the dog. Get some books and pick the right breed/combination of breeds for your situation. You owe it to the dog. P.S. a lot of apartments only want dogs 25lbs or less.

I think big dogs are better because they are more of a protection dog .If you think small dogs are cute, they are but there only protection is there bark.I have a dog myself,it's a big dog too.And he is very love able!He is a very protective dog, but when he's off duty he is love able!So what I'm trying to say is both dogs are great, but I would go with big if I were you!

my answer is if:

you have a family that is new and just starting with kids then I'd prefer that you have a medium or small size dog but i would not go with Chihuahua's or terriers because they are hyper-active and usually snippy

also if your a older adult like a single parent or and elder 55+ you should go with a small type of dog that has short hair.

further more if you are just in college or just a graduate from high school and don't have much time to look after I'd go with a median to large size dog

and from more information just contact me at rabooinblue@yahoo.com
I'd be glad to help you out on any other questions
