All of the above.
If I had to pick one, it would be chocolate. It releases endorphins into the brain. The holy men of primitive cultures consumed wild herbs for the same effect, and people believed they were communing with the spirits, etc so they looked to these guys for advice. Why not follow along the same line if I am going along with this.

The gods hath decreed I am to use whip cream and strawberries only for sexual purposes. They also decree I am to make an erotic sundae twice a week [with all of those], with whoever I am sleeping with, if I am being sexual.
