Ok lets start with the evolution being false first.
If evolution was true then it should still be ongoing. Man should still be evolving as well as some of the creatures that exist right now. According to evolution, the alligator, the shark, the turtle, the lizard all existed in prehistoric times.Yet I am seeing no evolution of these species. And if they had evolved millions years ago, there should be further evolution of these species by now. Evolution is a continuing process but no one can see the continuance of this evolution process today. Are evolutionists saying that man today & the other lifeforms have evolved into the perfect species & there are no more evolving needed?
The basis behind a lot of the evolution beliefs are the finding of fossils that suggest one species changing into another. What have been overlooked is the fact that there are many similar groups of lifeforms with bone structures that may suggest continuum but are in effect just another breed of animal. Examples are the wolf, the dog, the coyote, the fox. All one group. Another is the various type of cat family. Then there is the ape family. One million years ago, if a dog, a wolf & a coyote died & these animals became extinct so that evolutionists today have no idea what they actually looked like, their fossils today would suggest that the coyote evolved from the wolf & then into a dog. Creation meanwhile, states that the dog was created & borned a dog, the wolf was created & born a wolf & the coyote was created & borned a coyote.
Ok, the creation being true part now.
Well if the above is true & evolution is false then that means that creation would have to be true, right?
But to follow up on that. Even though I can feel justified in saying that "the bible said so" as I have no problem defending God or the bible, I can give reason other than religion for the reality of creation. Every invention that derived from an original idea have been created. Everything. All the great inventions, the great literatures, the world wonders. They all have been created & they all stand apart in their greatness as they are. Sure thay may be modified, but the invention still stand alone as they are. This is because the original idea supports creation. The earth & man & the creatures on earth are the greatest inventions ever. Thus creation.
That is the rule & it follows thru in everything.

Creationism is just a made up thing. It was made up because nobody knew the answers, nobody knew how we were made and why we're so smart compared to other animals and living things. But scientists have since then discovered more of these answers. It is proven that we have developed from apes, there are fossils showing this trasition. We do not know the ultimate answers (was there really a "big bang" which created organisms?) but we do have proof that there are new organisms being created all the time, perhaps this is how we were created.
PS: the person with the previous comment quoted: "That guy in Israel that decided to write a book - wrote the greatest book ever written - told prophets what to say and thousands of years later it came true." But the book 1984 was written well before the actual year of 1984 and it was suprisingly acurate. This happened by chance. So that guy who wrote the book in which the things he said came true? - happened by chance.
and PPS: to David G who wrote just above, it is pretty unlikely how it just so happend that 2 genders perfectly evolved. its unbelievable right?? BUT out of the entire universe which is possibly never ending, which goes on forever and ever and ever. Out of a place THAT BIG, how unlikely is it that we were perfectly created? Not that unlikely. It was bound to happen.

No one can say that evolution is false, just like no one can say creationism is 100% true. Creationism relies on faith, evolution relies on science. Both are valid belief systems for the fact that we need to have faith that there is more to life than our flesh and that there is something after this world, some hope that we will be reunited with our loved ones someday. Supernatural beliefs have been intrinsic to our very core since human beings came to be, evolution is a way of bridging that gap but to say that this is all there is and we are "just monkeys" is where I think people feel put off by evolution. It sounds very bitter and cynical on paper. I believe in science and religion. I see the paradox but I accept it. Fanaticism gets us nowhere, its been the cause of many wars but cold hard science hasn't gotten us very far either. Sure, we have great technology but without any sort of religion or faith, society would dissolve. Having "things" doesn't make us happy, just as having evidence of how we came to be. Science helps us to understand how, religion and faith help us to understand WHY.

I am of The True Christian Faith... and I will state that neither evolution or The Creation Story can be proven by any method available to mankind... Only God can provide the "proof"... and he will, in His own good time.
The"theory" of evolution is a valid tool for further scientific study. But it can never be "proven" by any valid scientific method... no reputable scientist would claim otherwise...
The Record of Creation is In The Bible of The Christian Faith. It is intended for those of The Faith who know The Truth. There is nothing in The Bible for the non-believer who is not open to the leading of God through The Holy Spirit.... The Bible is not a Science book...even though all science is from God.

Evidence:
1. The Human Body
2. If I'm evolving why do I need parents? Parents
3. Reproduction organs of a woman
If you said Hogwarts exists by quoting Harry Potter, who would believe you?
I can't prove the Holy Spirit is in me; I just know the Holy Spirit is in me and speaks to me.
That guy in Israel that decided to write a book - wrote the greatest book ever written - told prophets what to say and thousands of years later it came true. One of the greatest proofs of God that I can give you is the Jewish people are back in their land - Israel speaking Hebrew. The most persecuted people on the earth have returned to their homeland after 2000 years. This was prophesied in the Bible over 2500 years ago. Six Day War was a miracle of military accomplishment. The Bible said the Jews would return on wings of eagles over 2500 years ago and in 1948 and after they returned on airplanes from all over the world to Israel. How much evidence do you need to prove that God wrote this book called the Holy Bible? You don't want to believe.

I do not believe the situation demands an "either or" stance, but a "both and." Evolution is not discredited and neither is Creationism. The problem is people tend to believe both are asking the same question because they are studying the same subject; the beginning of existence.
However, the subject is the same, but both disciplines are asking very different questions. Creationism is not trying to answer "how" existence began. It is trying to answer "why" existence began and "why" are we in the existential condition we experience today (e.g.) Why is there good and evil in the world, beauty and tragedy, etc. etc. Because it is asking "why" it cannot condemn or debunk Evolutionism because that would be outside of the scope of its inquiry.
The same can be said of Evolutionism. The question this discipline is asking is not "why" existence came about, but is asking and trying to answer "how" existence came about and "how" we have the species we encounter today. Because it is asking "how" it cannot condemn or debunk Creationism because that would be outside of the scope of its inquiry.
So, in the end Creationsim and Evolutionsim are not contradictory and neither is interested in crushing the other. They work hand in hand on the subject matter. Both are credible and helpful in studying something grander than all of us; existence itself.
May the Lord bless and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.

Things that are in existence give evidence of a creator. Take for instance the computers we all are using for these question/answer sessions. If someone told you that they put a bunch of wires and keys and plastic and stuff in a bucket and left it there for 20 billion years and it turned into a computer, would you believe that? No.
The intelligent design of the ecological system we live in speaks mountains about a very intelligent creator/designer - not a big bang theory, or evolution. What logic is that?

Peace be with you. the truth shall make you free.
I challenge you to see with mathematics if these revelations are true.
Daniel 8:13 is written 200300 days divided by 360 days = 556 years, 4 months, and 19 days or (April 19, 33 AD)
Daniel 12:11 is written 100290 days divided by 360 days = 278 years, 7 months
Daniel 12:12 is written 1003530 days divided by 360 days = 2787 years, 7 months
Jesus seventy times seven
Seventy = seventy generations 70 x 40 = 2800
Seven = seven other spirits more wicked then you
2800 AD is the Final Judgment and it is Just.
A TIME = 21,6 Billion years
TIMES = 1,960 years (2 each)
A HALF TIME = 980 years
1960 + 980 = 2940, Year of the Blessed 2800 AD
7 Ages, 7 Seasons, 7 Little Seasons
Each have 6 days of labor, 1 day of rest
Life
20, 40, 400, 4,000, 40,000, 400,000, 4,000,000
The Earth and the Universe
40,000,000, 400,000,000
The 10th President of the U.S. shall fall to Gog and Magog
The 10th President of the U.S. shall take office in January 2009

For evolution to work you'd have to have two of a species living in the same place at the same time of two genders develop the same mutation. Then those two would have to procreate to pass on the same recessive mutated gene. Then their children would also have to procreate to pass on that same gene. Sounds pretty unlikely to me.
Also, to develop a leg, the theory goes that a stump would have to start appearing and then eventually turn into a leg. Well what is the genetic advantage of a stump, to be passed on? And where are the fossil records of fish with a stump of a leg?
Intelligent design, a higher power creating, designing, and placing animals on the earth makes much more sense to me.

I completely agree with you.
Nature works through adaptions and survival. I often wonder why people assume that human beings are all so important? Fact is, we're just like animals. To believe that the creators son was human seems odd to me, considering we are the most destructive creatures on this planet.
To state that evolution is wrong is just plain ignorance of the overwhelming evidence it is not wrong. I'm talking evolution in the sense that species evolve, often so much from one another, they are classified as different species.
Some of the same people that believe that evolution is completely false, are they same types that think dinosaurs are simply creatures that died off in the "flood".
