<------------------- *points to avatar* Darkwing Duck.

He was one of the few 'hero' type, good guy characters I liked, mostly my favorites in movies and cartoons are always the villains. What can I say? I like the more outlaw, bad *** type characters that don't follow the rules and get in trouble with the law. Darkwing is a vigilante, always seeking to protect and defend the innocent in his city. He's funny because he isn't perfect, sometimes he botches things up. Example: "I am the terror that flaps in the night. I am... obviously out of my trademark blue smoke."

The show itself is an affectionate satire on superhero mythos and lore, some obvious, some subtle, and others quite witty.

Ahh, a cross between Major Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell (take away the physical force, though :) ) and Spike Siegel from Cowboy Bebop.

(after rereading my answer - wouldn't that be a weird thing to see!!)
