both of my ex boyfriends have recently found out that i have plans of marrying the guy i am with now. they both have told me that they now want to marry me, and one has even went as far as to want to start a family with me?????

Girl it's like they have a sixth-sense of these things! This is currently happening to me and a girlfriend I know. We have both just recently gotten engaged, seriously, like within a month of each other and she's had no less than 6 guys calling her, one who professes undying love. My ex that I waited for for 3.5 years just recently told me that he "loves me" (something he refused to do in all that time) and that he realizes what he lost and wants me back. I'm like, well you snooze you loose. I think it's the old saying of you never miss the water until the well runs dry.

Did you break up with them or the other way around?
I have found from past experience that when you finally have moved on with your life the ex's can't believe that you have gotten over them. Also for most men it's a game, a competition with the other men. If they can win you back then they win and it's an ego boost.
Follow your heart. If you are truly happy with your guy so what if they want you back. You've move on. My ex played that game with me for over a year and like a dummy I allowed it. I guess for me to it was nice to know he wanted me back. But it never went anywhere.
Follow your heart, you know inside what you want.

Here's the thing. We men have a double standard as far as moving on goes.
We feel like women should be just crushed when we move on and that always, for the rest of their lives, they are secretly hoping we'll come back to them. No seriously. Every guy thinks he is better than he is...self included...I come to this after much soul searching. Basically we feel like our ex should be completely celibate for the rest of her life. When we see her with another guy, we automatically compare ourselves to the new guy and come to the conclusion that you are now dating a loser and that we could have you back if we wanted.
Simply put, these guys that have seemed to "move on" never really did. Seeing you happy makes them wish they never left.
Now girls do this as well...trust me. Just remember that you aren't with those guys for a reason. You need to tell them to take a hike.

From a man's perspective, they are just messing with your head.
Have you ever heard, "Misery loves company".
This is what is happening.
They have seen you move forward and the growth in your life.
They have probably remained stagnant, thus trying to distort your perception.
They SHOULD be proud of you and happy for you - but, what people do and what they SHOULD do are two different concepts.
