If losing weight is what you want, the good ole exercise & calorie watching will always be the answer. No cream or diet pill or hungering or diet soda will work. If you seriously want to lose weight, you might want to change your lifestyle and avoid all these calories from KFC and McDonald’s, and settle for soup, rice (2 cups max), and some entrée. Subway has a good list of food that’s both filling & low in calories. I know it sounds so fussy to lose weight, but that’s how serious people do it. To give you an example, a Big Mac is around 704 calories. To lose that will take you 2 ½ hours of walking at moderate speed. Yup, impossible! When you add your fries (large = 350 cals), and maybe some desserts, only for one meal, and later a different set of highly-caloric food, you don’t lose the calories. You add more. Unused calories become fats. Hence the reason you’re not losing weight.

I know that exercise takes up time, but you have to move some things aside and actually make time for it. I’m a 5’7” female… I was 235 lbs less than three years ago. Now, I’m 158 lbs (more than 75 lbs loss), and I didn’t take any diet pill or had any surgeries. Pure exercise & watching food… and believe me, I love to eat, especially chocolates & ice cream. Eat a sufficient amount of food, and if you still “feel hungry”, try munching on apples or mangoes or bananas or melons. Trust me on this. If it’s too overwhelming to live with, just try it for 1 week. Exercise + good meal portion + fruits. Weigh yourself before & after. If you honestly, sincerely did these things, you will lose weight.

I'm leaving a good website for you to check calories of popular foods & how much calories you lose by doing certain activities. Explore the site (Tools). You'd even find a calorie allowance counter for you with the kind of activity you do to get your target weight on a specific date. And they do work, when you follow them.

Do not lose hope my friend. I was once obese. My first 2 weeks I lost 5 lbs :) You will, too. And you get motivated from there.

Dieting consists of more than just drinking diet coke in place of regular soda. You say that you drink diet coke when you go to fast food places...but the question is, why are you going to these fast food places at all?? Fast food is fattening!

A recent study on the news investigated the hypothesis that diet coke might actually cause you to feel hungrier and accidentally overeat! This would NOT help you to lose weight, but in fact would be detrimental to your diet.

Why drink diet coke at all? It is dehydrating and has no nutrients. Drink water instead...water helps you to lose weight, plus it has 0 calories NATURALLY and it helps you to maintain a good complexion. Or how about concentrated fruit juice, such as V8 or carrot/strawberry puree? They do not have many calories, but are chock full o' vitamins and minerals. Skim milk is good too, because it has no fat, but is high in calcium and protein, plus dairy products tend to make you feel fuller so that you won't be tempted to overeat. Just some food for thought. :)

Try drinking energy drinks with vitamin B's. It will give you energy. A good friend recommended to me a great energy drink that's really good for you. It's called XS Energy Drink. You can get it on line at www.jflores.qhealthzone.com. Many flavors. Hey they even taste good. It's the only soda I can drink, for diabetics. No sugar and no carb and only 8 cal. Kick the fast food diet and cook at home. Thats the best i can do for you. Best wishes.

you should stop eating junk food instead eat fruit and vegetables and you should stop drinking Diet Coke instead drink water. If you really want your diet to work then you must have carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals salts and fibre in the correct proportions and do at least 30mins of exercise a day.
