I have never been attracted to other women, but slept once with a girl who was my best friend?

We were friends for a long time and it turned out that she is attracted to women and I ended up sleeping with her. Now I understand that she was more a man than a woman. It happened only once. I had not even kissed anybody before that. That was 15 years ago. I was 24 Since than I kissed a few guys but never had sex.
I've never been attracted to women. I like guys. I just can not meet the right one. But when I masturbate- I'm sorry but I have to speak up- I often think about her. I know this is totally sick, but how do I get rid of this obsession? Also, why can not I meet anyone? I'm a pretty woman. Please, talk to me. Thank you

Being pretty in an insecure society can be a bad thing. But it seems theres deeper things going on here. I'm thinking since your ovious not wanting to think that your a lesbian that the reason it stuck in your mind is the fact that its the closes intimate incounter that you've had. If not your a lesbian, but love in all its intensity can blur the lines of sexuality. I would really need to hear more of your story to make that claim thou. It could just be the fact that you love her and the dating game makes it hard to find relationship like that because history plays such an important part in making a relationshp intense. O Love and obsession are very close bed-fellas which is why I claim that being the case. O and its not totally sick to love someone. Now if it is coming down to her raw sexuality then yea the only sick thing is that your fighting with your sexuality, again thou i'd have to know more of your story to say its that way. Ether way your best fix is to concentrate on making some friendships with guys and working those into romantic relationships as oppose to playing the same dating game everyone else is. Its harder but you'll find your not as alone that way and you'll be better able to make emotional connections with men so that your able to enjoy that same intensity. Women it seems are a little bit more exceptiable to bluring the lines between sexualities.
