Well, either one will work. But if you are going to work out afterwards, make sure you wait a couple of hours to do so. This will give your body a better chance to have digested the food and will provide some energy for your workout. Working out before has the benefit of giving you a better chance of getting your body to burning your fat reserves rather than just consuming the energy you just took in via your meal. Also, I've found that my appetite is usually much less after a work out so I tend to eat less when I work out before a meal.

I work out almost every day and I higly recommend eating a healthy meal about thirty minutes before working out. If I try to wait untill after I work out, I tend to have less strength and want to quit earlier. I usually eat a Subway wrap and drink a water before I work out. It gives me energy without making me feel full and sluggish.Good luck on workin out!!

to my knollage your supposed to work out befior meals as this helps boost your matabalism and also helps burn food faster up to 3 hours.also if you exsersise after woods you would end up getting a stich.good luck!!
