I have been wanting to get rid of the hair on my stomach and bikini for a while and am just starting to look in to laser. I have had 2 kids and after the first one the hair on my stomach fell out, but then grew back in. I'm not sure what to expect this time around - but I am not finished having kids so I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to laser the hair if it doesn't fall out? Or will it grow back in with subsequent pregnancies? Anyone experienced this or know??

My wife had the extra hair situation with her pregnancies as well. Go ahead and get the laser hair removal now...it will destroy the follicles and then you won't have to worry about regrowth with any future hormonal changes.

Make sure you go to someone with experience who is using some fo the latest technology. LHR is really safe as long as the person is using good equipment and they know what they are doing.

Laser hair removal is a good thing for people who dont like to shave everyday, that would be everyone. Just make sure you are done healing after having the baby though. After getting laser the hair shouldn't grow back for a few years. So go for it.

Laser hair removal destroys the folicles preventing future hair from growing. So, using laser would prevent it from even trying to grow back in the future.

I just read this article a couple of days ago and thought I would like to share it with you. I'm not opposing laser hair removal, it's just that the article really freaked me out when I saw the pictures of botched treatments. It also has some useful information that might be helpful. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/OnCall/story?id=2930753&page=3

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

it's just hormones, there probably nothing you can do about it, get the laser but it will just probably be a waste of money, most likely hair is going to grow again.

I think it is worth having your hair removed. Even if it does come back later.
