Eye bogies nothing to worry about just keep wiping with warm damp cloth. If the cold passes and the eye bogies stay you will need to visit docs for drops. Main thing is to keep an eye on temperature, look out for spots and make sure they take on plenty of fluid.

Our 9 month old had that about a month ago, was so bad it actually sealed one eye shut for a bit.. Just use a warm wet facecloth to wash the eyelids.. it'll come off.
Not anything to worry about unless you think it's becoming more severe.
If it's happening more long term (more than 3 days?) I'd suggest getting it checked then too.. may still be from a virus, but it may be useful to be certain it's nothing else (allergies, for instance).

My son had that problem when he was 1 i took him in and they said he had an infection in his eye! Kinda like a sinus infection but it spread. They gave me some funny looking gel stuff to put in the inside of his eye! He didnt like me putting it in there but after i was done he was a happy lil man! I would suggest going in to the doctor it could be something serious and not necasarily go away on its own!

nothing to worry about, just all the yukky stuff comming out her system! Probably be worse in the morning ... all crusty .... eweeeee .... just bathe them in warm water.
If it doesn't clear up though or her eyes are bloodshot & itchy see the doc, could turn into conjunctivitis!
Have a restfull night .... ha! Good luck!

her tear duct is filled with mucus. It may be emptied by gently squeezing along the sides of the bridge of her nose. Let nature take its course and don't fuss a lot....UNLESS its gets worse and painful, in which case there is something more serious so then take her to a doc.

Steaming is a good way for ridding colds in kids. Turn your shower on hottest heat, let the steam build up in bathroom then take your child in there for 5mins. (Not into the hot shower!! just the bathroom!) It helps to open the sinuses.

both of my daughters have had this happen. just take a warm wash rag and gently rub her eyes clean... more than likely it's just her tear ducts stopped up... if you notice any redness or swelling i would go see my paediatrician. or if it doesn't get better in a few days go see the doc. she my need some antibiotics. good luck and hope she gets to feeling better.

Her tear duct is clogged. Nothing to worry about. It'll go away when the cold is gone, if not, start to worry.

Go to your pharmacist, that's what they're there for. they will advise whether she might have an eye infecton or something and if there is anything you can buy over the counter or if it is something that should have a prescription.
