Christians are persecuted in many parts of the world. In some countries, if a Muslim converts to Christianity their family murders them. Christians missionaries are beaten every day in India.
Trash talk in here is only a lesser kind of persecution.

A more important issue will be the persecution of all who are not 'radical Muslim'. For anyone thinking this is a trite issue remember there a three sleeper cells never recovered from the 9/11 A Mohammad and 'The Muslim Brotherhood' operating under 'The Project' is in the process of infiltrating the US. Look itup b/4 thinking.

They expect it because they were told that people who didn't agree with them would persecute them.
Ironically, that's what most groups tell their followers, but anyways, since they expect it they look for it in many places, like here.
Some think this is persecution, some think trying to get prayer out of school is persecution. I think some actually seek it out to validate their belief. I have known some like that

there's still persecution going on in the middle East, China, and Northern Africa, as in Christians actually being killed/tortured/beaten.
on Y!A R&S, it's more a metaphorical slap accross the face, as there are many stereotypes, insults, and mockeries of Christians

Christians **ARE**persecuted in numerous parts of the world.
In North America, we have freedom of religion, so Christians(& other religious groups)are free to go about their way.
But in Communist countries or countries where Christianity is the minority, Christians are at risk every day.

Persecuted=the condition of being persecuted, harassed, or annoyed
In that sense we are annoyed quite often on here.
