To be fair no-one on here will know the answer. Infact the only person who knows is Mr Blair himself.

(I think) the information he got was that there was no evidence but there probably was - knowing mr saddams past history and other factors.

Oil and petroldollars aside, Mr Saddam was a wicked, wicked man and needed to be removed from power.

Mr Blair and Mr Bush are right to stay in Iraq for the time being as the Iraqi army are pobably not equiped and experienced enough to cope on their own - despite what the public think.

You obviously "know" the answer and will reject anyones answer that does not fit your opinion.

Saddam had and used WMD in the past. He consistently evaded inspectors, barred them from certain sites, delayed inspections and behaved as if he was hiding WMD. Because Turkey would not let the Coalition invade from the north, Saddam had days to send truckloads of WMD and equipment to Syria. Trucks were seen going to Syria. Some WMD has been found, but not in large amounts. Logic would say he had WMD all along, not enough to repel the Coalition, but enough to make it one of the many reasons for the invasion.
The Taliban supported and gave refuge to Bin Laden, therefore it was neccessary to kick out the Taliban. Plus they were purely evil. Bin Laden was driven out of Afghanistan, but the Taliban will be harder to deter although it can be done.

Now go ahead and laugh, call names, so that you will show how you are immature, bigoted, narrow-minded, vile and hateful. Don't do those things and you will at least appear to be intelligent.

Bush and Blair both made a big hoopla out of African records which were known ot be out-of-date (before the 1st Gulf War). Yet they both perpetuated this lie because Bush really wanted his war.
