LUTS = Lower urinary tract symptoms

Lower Urinary Tract Symptom(s).

This is actually a very well known problem for men as they age. The frequency of urination or the urge to urinate, and decreased output is part of an enlarged prostate and the correlation to LUTS as an only symptom (other than benign prostate enlargement) in negligible as an indicator of prostate cancer.

Ask your doc about some therapies to assist in the BPH (oh! benign prostate hyperplasia!!) and reducing these symptoms as they can interfere with quality of life. The biggest complaint being erectile difficulties, sex life. And for men this is very serious as they view their sex life as a gauge for quality of life.

Hope this helps! Good luck and Blessings!
