We have a concret porch, and are putting up new railings. The corner of the porch has fallen off. How do we go about repairing this corner piece?

Believe it or not, I have done this before. You haven't indicated how large a chunk is missing, but I am assuming that it is substantial. I took a 1/4" diameter masonary bit with a hammer drill and drilled holes as deep as possible about every 3" (in my case, I had 8 holes in all). Next, I drove 1/4" rebar into the holes and cut them to length to allow the steel rebar ends to fall below the finished surface of the concrete. Next, I tied cross pieces of rebar to connect a few of the pieces that I had driven in. Next, using 3/4" plywood, I constructed a form on the outside corner and staked it firmly in place. I mixed some premixed concrete with water until it was thoroughly mixed (you don't want any big aggregate here). I wet the work area to improve the chances of a bond, then I filled the form with concrete mix and smoothed as required. I allowed it to set overnight before I removed the forms. After the repair was done, I waited anothe 3 days before I did any more to the site. I drilled mounting holes for a porch post and mounted it in place. That was 5 years ago, and the patch is still in place.
