I 'm Asian so I need to learn more American Culture.
I know this guy for two months and we like each other ( because he told me that). However, we can't move to the next step because he is my instructor. He kissed me when I went out to a bar with his friends. He told me everything that he likes me for a long time and finally kiss me. I think he did that because he was a little bit drunk. After that day, I reassure him that he will not get fired, so dont worry about our relationship. He told me that I shouldnt have kissed you but he told me also that I was glad that it happened. So, i told him if you feel good to kiss someone and you can make that person feel good, just go for it. Should i kiss him back? Why he kiss me? How can I keep him innterested in me until we can pursue our relationship? Does he still like me? I'm so confused!!!

Its really inappropriate that as your instructor, he made a move on you. I realize that you two have feelings for each other, but a teacher/student relationship is highly frowned upon. I would suggest waiting until you are not his student anymore before going ahead with the relationship. I don't know that you should get involved with someone like him anyway. For one, he is kissing you while you are drunk, and he is also your teacher. He should restrain himself, and it seems to me that maybe he is not a nice guy. I would be worried. He might get involved with students all the time and could be taking advantage of you. You should really steer clear of this guy even though you like him.

First off he CAN lose his job even if you do not tell if the univeristy/college and so forth finds out he can lose his job. Secondly you said he was DRUNK that is why he kissed you he was DRUNK. NO do not kiss him back if you like him so much wait until your out of school because even if he is no longer one of your instructors if he has relationship with any student body his job is at risk!
Furthermore I know you'll give me thumbs down but rules are rules I bet its even in your student handbook that there are to be no relationships between studentbody and instructors.

If the two of you are over 18 and not married then yes, it's okay for you to kiss him. I would feel a bit awkward considering he's the instructor and you're the student....I'd wait until the class was over.

Just make sure that he has no one else.Find out some more about him before the too of you get involved.Try and get his home number,if you can not get that,or he makes up excuses before he gives it to you,that is a warning sign.Also get him to take you to his house,that way you can see if he can be trusted.You need to know if someone else is at home with him.Do not stay at his house very long as he may think you want to do more than you planned on doing.Good luck and I hope it turns out good for the too of you.

Well maybe you can wait until he is not your instructor? Depending on the situation he could lose his job if you don't wait. Tell him you will wait and ask him if he is still interested. If everyone read the post they would see you went to a bar with his friends so your probably an adult. I'm thinking college?

Getting involved with your instructor may not be such a good idea. He already supposedly feels bad about kissing u that night in bar. If you do really like each other, get to know. Ask him about his self, his life and family. flirt with him and if he feels the same, you will kiss again. Count on it.

Well, are you sure about YOUR feelings?
You write that you like each other because he told you...? That's strange - I hope you mean it that way that you know about his feelings.
Anyway, if you want it to go on, why don't you ask him to go out? And if your date runs well, you either can make him feel good and get closer so that he will kiss you again - or you get closer and go ahead yourself...

Assuming that you are an adult, yes you can kiss him back. It's not very professional of him but if it's not a problem for you then go for it.

Since he's your instructor, you need to stay away. If after you no longer have that barrier, he pursues you, then you'll know. But I wouldn't wait around for him.
