I hate when you do this. I am kidding to a degree. I usually say Louis, Ali, Marciano are even because I honestly think on a given day they could beat each other and then 2 months later when they fought the other would win. Ali could take a punch and Joe sure as hell could throw them. They even themselves out because of this because I don't think Ali could knock Joe out either. Ali has too much speed for Louis. The power of these great great fighters would not come into play. Ali would be moving and sticking and Joe would be following. Ali by decision. Two great men.

Ali beats Joe Louis by Unanimous Decision.
Ali in his prime, I believe, would have beaten any Heavyweight, including Joe Louis, circa 1938. Ali's performances against Foreman and in Liston 1showed how he would've found a way to beat anyone with a powerful punch...By boxing and moving against Liston when he was younger, and by out-thinking Foreman and using rope-a-dope when he was older.

I'm picking Ali for speed and ability to stay away and take a good shot. It would be a good one to see for sure though.

i think ali will win because louis was knock out by ramhan and ovliver maccal. he will win against louis. louis doesn not have a chin that is strong and he will lose because ali is good than louis. ali has power too to beat louis and his soft chin and he will lose.
