There are some good people of Islam, some very strong to the faith, others read it only in a way to gain power, this is not what is meant to be, All religion is written by man, and all has been changed to suit man in many ways some so man can understand better, some to control others, some mix up their religious believes with what man kind has made them do over the years, but like all religion it causes wars, it's just now its the turn of Islam, people forget what the Christians did years ago, and how cruel the Roman Catholic can be, and there is part of the bible which suits the world today with a little change in the words.
'Let the religion without sin cast the first stone'
Love & Peace

This question has not been phrased properly and is merely bait for trolls. You ask for opinions about Islam in the title, but then restrict it to ask why people don't like Islam in the full question. You set yourself up to receive these sort of ignorant responses.
The religion of Islam is about recognizing our place in existence and our relationship with the Creator. The Qur'an is an invitation to guidance and therefore should be approached with sincerity. People who have biases are only going to look for ways to make things fit their distorted views and reassure themselves, but it is a betrayal of the heart. If you come to the Qur'an as a sincere seeker of knowledge, truth and guidance, then you will find much more than you could have imagined, as deeper meanings and spiritual truths are revealed to you, which would not otherwise be apparent if you are just looking for ways to misinterpret things and make yourself feel right about your preconceived views.
Whoever is meant to come to the faith will come. There's no reason to grieve yourself over people who do not think or believe in the same manner as muslims . As human beings our duty is only to convey the Message to the best of our ability, it is for God to call to account those who turn away, wether they do so out of arrogance or were genuinely not convinced by the person presenting the Message. Whatever the case, God sees it, and people are judged according to their awareness. That is why there is a distinction between those who are merely non-muslims and those who are termed as 'kafirs/infidels' (people who see the truth in Islam but still consciously reject it due to whatever superficial reasons). There is an important difference between them.

Islam, partly, grow to be based off of Christianity. Muhammad created the religion of Islam whilst an Angel got here to him and informed him there grow to be purely one god, Allah. He grow to learn by employing a Christian that it grow to be the angel Gabriel. This stimulated him to extra this journey right into a faith. Muslims settle for many of the Biblical figures and memories as real, so, inherently, have self assurance in a number of of the Christian strategies. whether, in assessment of religious texts, the Quran is plenty much less sexist and demeaning of girls than the two the Bible or Torah. Muhammad believed that ladies and adult males ought to share a similar non secular accountability, and that ladies ought to even own factors.the only unfair benefit in direction of being male interior the Quran is the skill to have 4 better halves. whether, the Sharia (Islamic regulation), more advantageous from the Quran later in history, expects women to be subservient and obedient to many unfair rules. So, by employing a non secular context, Christianity is plenty extra sexist; whether, by employing a cultural attitude, Islam is.

Because although Islam believes that Jesus Is the Messiah, Islam a)rejects His Divinity & b)claims that Muhammed is a greater Prophet than the long-awaited Messiah.
Let me post this question to you: If neither Jesus, nor Muhammed, or any of the Prophets are Divine(God Incarnate), why should someone such as myself accept Islam, as opposed to Judaism, Bahai, Sikhism, or any other Monotheistic religion?

To think that a religion is truthful, one has to have personal expierience within that religion.
You don't expect people to say that Islam is the truth unless they are part of that faith. It is your duty to tell folks here about the truth of your beliefs; you have no right to condemn others for not believing in what you believe.

I do not think that Islam is a bad religion it just isn't what I believe in. Infact it seems to be a more peaceful and tolerant religion than my own (Roman Catholic). The image of Islam is bad at the moment in the west which I can only put down to ignorance and insightment to suspicion (on the US and UK governments' parts). Please don't think that all non Muslim people think bad of your faith.
