Naturally.

I liked it because it was short and sweet. And pretty much covered all aspects of the problem with religion.

Didn't like it because I thought he was overly offensive towards religious people in some parts. Which will serve to keep them from ever reading the book.

Overall it's a fantastic little book that I think everyone should read.

I've read both _Letter to a Christian Nation_ and its predecessor, _The End of Faith_. While "Faith" does a fine job of pointing out the dangers of religion without reason, I was a bit bothered by Harris's comments about religious freedom. His facts were undeniable, but his conclusion seemed to be that religious freedom wasn't such a good thing. I don't agree.

"Letter," on the other hand, besides being shorter, was more to the point. Addressed specifically to the Christians who had written him hate mail after "Faith," he was very on target without being so brutal. That was my impression, anyway; some think he was more brutal. In any case, he backed off on his apparent aversion to religious freedom, which made me more comfortable.

Both are good books, but I'd recommend "Letter" to everyone.

Sam Harris needs combat religious fanaticism with atheistic fanaticism. he's the worst of the bunch. Hitchens i like, Dawkins i like much less, Harris is an illiberal fanatical elitist bigot that no atheist could desire to help.

Fantastic and marvelous little book. It's something I wish every christian would read... if only it were cheaper I'd give copies of it out to people.

Very good book that will only be read by those who don't really need it. The people who it is addressed to will disregard it as from Satan, and not listen to the arguments it defines.

Great book. Everyone should read it and his other book - The End of Faith

I like it because he manages to express how many of us feel about christians, in a logical and reasonable manner.

I read "The End of Faith" and it was outstanding. A brilliant argumentative treatise. Well researched and well thought out.
