You say you like Jack Roodles. What is it you like about them?

The reason I ask is that I suspect you have seen somebody else's JRT x poodle and liked something about that particular one.

Thing is, one "jack roodle" will not be the same as another. With cross-bred dogs you have no way of predicting which traits will come from which parent.

For instance, maybe you want the low shedding, low allergy coat of a poodle, with the temperament of a jack russell. You MIGHT get that with a jack roodle, or you might get a dog with the poodle temperament that sheds as much as any jack russell.

If a breeder tells you that they can guarantee that won't happen, they are LYING!!!

If it's just a hypoallergenic (LESS allergic, not NON-allergic - there's no such thing I'm afraid) dog you need, google "hypoallergenic dog" and see what breeds come up. Then go to a breed-specific rescue for a breed that takes your fancy and spend time with the dog to see whether you have a reaction.

Good luck.

You should save your money and go adopt a dog at the shelter that needs a home.

If you want to be conned by an unscrupulous breeder and pay pedigree prices for a crossbreed, I'm sure you'll find one (whatever it is supposed to be). The type of breeder who will produce this sort of cross deliberately is not the type to spend money on the health & welfare of their animals, so be prepared for large vet bills too.

You should be able to just go to google or dogbreedinfo.com. Why don't you think about going to a shelter or something and look for a dog there.

That isn't a breed, its a mutt.

Discourage the people purposely breeding mutts for money and go to the shelter.
