The mother will not feed, we try forcing her but she just gets up.

It depends on their age. If under 2 1/2 weeks, they should have only puppy formula, or a homemade substitute..If they are more than 2 1/2 weeks, you can feed them baby cereal, mixed with puppy formula. Puppy formula is available at any pet supply, Walmart, or the vet's office. This can be fed until about 3 1/2 weeks, when they can begin puppy food, soaked in the puppy formula until they are 6 weeks old, at which time they can switch to wet puppy kibble.

1. 10 oz. of canned evaporated milk or goat's milk (not pasteurized cow's milk - this will cause scowers - dogs cannot drink normal cow's milk) Goats milk is by far the best to use. Wall Mart sells it.
2. 3 oz. sterilized water (baby water or boiled water) this is not needed if using goat's milk
3. 1 raw egg yolk (no white)
4. 1 cup of whole yogurt (avoid skim or fat free if at all possible)
5. 1/2 Tsp Karo Syrup or Corn Syrup (not honey)

As the other answer advised, try holding her down to force her to allow pups to nurse. If puppies are three weeks or more, they need their nails trimmed, just the clawed tips, as the scratching hurts, and is often the reason a mom will give up nursing.

Goats milk or puppy formula every 2 hours. Sorry to hear mom won't feed that is going to make it hard on you.

no its to rich and will give a puppy the runs. you need to hold the mother dog down and let her babies nurse. do that at least 6 times a day.i know its not fun or easy but it is necessary. there is puppy milk you can buy at any pet store or feed store and you could bottle feed them.

feed baby puppy blood of white bat for make it grow big and strong very fast, sometime it work, othertime puppy uoyours will collapse and die, but is worht it!
