My ex-boyfriends mother wants me to come in visit her this summer i've never met her in person before . but, she seems very friendly and nice... My question to you is should i go?
And if i did go do you think he would be their? Keep in mind i haven't spoken to him for a little while.... And, if i did go to visit it would be to see her and go to a church function... Please answer ASAP.. Thanx

Keep in mind she knows we are broken up and she lives a few states away. And in a way i do still care for him.. So, what do you think?

I think you should go only if you're interested in keeping yourself in his life. Otherwise, you really don't have a good reason to go visit her, given that you don't actually know her. It would be different if you knew her and had gotten to be friends. But since you never did, it's really odd that she wants you to go visit. If it was me, and it was an x-bf who i want to stay 'x' with, i wouldn't go.

HuH? You've never met her in person? Why would you visit someone you've never even met??? And it's your ex's mother! How weird and uncomfortable. I hope you don't have a boyfriend b/c he'd be broken hearted knowing that you're considering visiting your ex's mother!

It sounds messy and probably something he would not appreciate. i would politely decline. How would people here on Answers know if he'd be there? Does he live there? Did you ask her if he would be around? Are you sure you aren't going with the hope you'll see him?

why visit someone you have never met? They could be setting you up to hold you hostage until you are with the son again

that's just silly. if your not with him any more and never met his mother before then why now.i think your just hopping to run in to him again.i say no. you have no business going to see his mother. if i was him i would be VERY upset that you was at my mothers house.
