for men of color, i would suggest putting a texturizer on your hair. u can do it yourself by buying a kit at most grocery or drug stores. really simple.. just look next to the african american products like relaxers. etc. then, just grease your hair every night and always ALWAYS brush it with a wooden brush in the SAME direction.. forward on top, down on sides and back. ALWAYS wear ur doo rag at night and soon.. u will see beautiful waves!!

For black men, brush ur hair a lot with a soft brush and use grease. After wash tie it down tight.

welcome to yahoo answers! to get wavy hair you can ask the perrson who styles it to make it that way or you can wet it and then put gel in your haindd then spreqaed it in your hair wile crimping it and layering it
