I don't know where you stand spiritually but the book Melissa mentioned would probably really help you. It wasn't until I prayed about it that I realized that I have a divine destiny to fulfill. We ALL do no matter what people believe. That feeling in you is God given vision. As I began to walk with God and pray about it, I am beginning to see my own destiny unfold together w/ my husband. For years it bothered me because I didn't fit the mold..don't like sitting in an office..but have an MBA??..I love music, dancing and health and fitness and have come to realize that there is a place for me to use my God given talents and not feel suffocated in life. Just start to pray about it.

I wish I had the answer, or, perhaps more accurately, wish I had an easy answer.
Best thing that I can tell is, poke your nose into a bunch of different things. See what captivates you, motivates you. You don't need to go in-depth into learning anything, no need to commit to a certain path - but just get a sense of what's out there. Then follow what feels right. Find something you're passionate about, and actually try it. Give it a while, see if that's something you really want to do.
If you're lucky, that'll be the right path. If you're still feeling that yearning, keep your eyes open. Don't necessarily stop what you're doing, if you like it, but keep your eyes out. Sometimes, that big thing will be noticable, like a bell ringing. Othertimes, it'll be subtle, something that just seems so darned comfortable that you'll know it's right.

I have no idea who you've been talking to...
But you've got it all wrong.
There is absolutely nothing you're supposed to do, because "Supposed" is a human invention. Human inventions exist only as long as humans exist, the whole thing is very temporary. So calm down and pretend everything is normal.

so- let me get this straight - you're not dead yet and you're constantly wondering why you are still walking the face of the Earth....following that lonely, repetitive, cycle of life.......lost.....daily, meaningless, endless tasks that never cease to exist.......and now that deep ' I must find meaning and purpose in my life' feeling is taking hold of you.......don't worry - it'll rub off and things will go back to the normal grind soon.......lol!!!!
