An excerpt from the Skeptic's Annonated Bible:
From "Good things in the Bible"
------------------------------------
"Love one another."
Except for all those antichrists (non-Christians), that is.
-------------------------------------------
You've gotta be kidding me.
Is this what non-believers think? We're called to love everyone but them?
sigh...

Perhaps, in it's purest form, no, I don't think Christianity calls for followers to, essentially, only love their co-religionists. Unfortunately, there's plenty of folks out there who do a pretty poor job of loving their neighbors - Christian or otherwise. While that might not be what the Bible says, too many folks have experienced "Christian love" being expressed as hatred.
If nothing else, it makes for bad PR.

unfortunately this is probably ture of many non-christians, esptially people who are specifcally anti-Christian. But this isn't really thier fault it's what people who have claimed the name of christ have done to them.
Now for me, just because the guy who told me 2 + 2 = 4 is a jerk doesn't mean I don't belive 2 +2 = 4. I might be less likely to take his word for it, but it doesn't decrease the likely hood it's ture.

From some christians, it sure seems to be the case.
I consider you one of the true christians who tries to follow christ's teachings. I have seen you joke and stuff, but I have never seen you judge or be rude. Maybe I just catch you on your good days. lol (kidding).

There is no right way to say I disagree with someone without them thinking they are disrespected or unloved. It is far easier for people to see it as them and us rather than just agreeing to disagree. Christians are people and unblievers are people. Just that simple

THE SECOND COMMANDMENT SAY LOVE THY NEIGHBOR. YES UNFORTUNATELY THAT MEANS ANTICHRISTS TOO! WE ARE CALLED TO LOVE OTHERS BETTER THAN OURSELVES IN PHILLIPIANS AND WE ARE ALSO CALLED TO SERVE OTHERS IN HUMILITY!

no- we know you love us,
as you are telling us that we are destined to burn in hell for all eternity unless we believe exactly what you believe.
