The Tamil Tigers make the news on a regular basis. They are better organized and armed than most guerrilla operatives. However, Armed insurrection against the government does not make much popular press, despite the belief that what you are doing is for the greater good. The US has had a history of getting screwed by every fanatic rebel we supported. They use us for weapons and money and then immediately turn their backs on us.
