My boyfriend claims that he heard that guys get hard ons like 30 times a day or something, and it just happens and they dont have any control over it. is this true? I'm looking for some proof cause i'm trying to prove it to my boyfriend that it isn't true.

well i don't know about 30 times a day, but they do get them quite a bit, usually when they're asleep

Yes it true. I don't know about 30 times a day, though. Probably depends on the guy and his sex drive. However, it happens to me at least once a day - in the morning - it's just a mechanism used by the body to help hold in urine during the night.
But yes, it most certainly does occur spontaneously throughout the day.

Well, 30 times a day may be a stretch, but yes, we get erections without thinking about getting an erection, per se, but just by thinking about anything erotic, like caressing breasts, or seeing bare legs, or a flash of belly skin, etc. You girls just have NO IDEA, how much the way you dress causes guys to get painful erections without even trying! A good kiss will usually produce one right quick, so you can always check it out ( if you feel risky)..

I would say 30 times a day is a bit extreme but it is uncontrollable at times. We think about sex about every 30 seconds or so. We can get a hard on when we go to the bathroom. Riding the bus can do it. All the vibration and such.

well your boyfriend might a hard on 30 times a day but that's not true and i say this because me and my boyfriend have lived together for almost 2 years and that's never happened to him but if there is something that he sees that keeps making him hard well then that might be a different story.

Sometimes sure but not 30 times a day. Yeesh. If I see a good looking naked woman you better believe it'll be hard. That's what we call ready for action. My blood line would have been passed on to many places back in cave man days.
One thing to note though.... when guys are going to puberty their hormones can be going nuts so it might be possible to hit 30.

I Know What You Mean! And The Ones Who Wear Loads Always Have Tons Of Boyfriends! But i find that Their relationships never seem to last long, Maybe the guys start to see through the make-up to who they really are and turns out there not so 'Hot'? Who Knows! xx

I don't know about 30 times a day, but it is possible for guys to get an erection without any stimulation and they do not have any control over it.

While thirty times a day seems like an exaggeration, your boyfriend is right. Sometimes it just happens and you have no control over it. Sometimes you aren't even thinking about sex (or anything else for that matter)and it happens. It is natural.
