I keep seeing all these Christians claim that Christianity isnt a religion, it is a relationship with God. That being the case, what teh heck are they doing in the religion section??

Those Christians are referring to the connotative meaning of religion not the denotative meaning.

I'm a Christian and it is a Religion, that places a lot of emphasis on a Relationship with God. If it wasn't a Religion, we wouldn't have ritual, tradition, ceremonies, etc.

do you feel athism is a religion it is true being christian is more about knowing Jesus than going to a church building but I think we have as much right on here as any one.

Because it is a great chance of sharing our faith , which is waht we are called to do anyway which is part of discipleship! Christian is called to have a relationship with Christ and trust me, it is worth it! YOU WILL KNOW HOW TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON: TO YOURSELF AND TO OTHER PEOPLE AND YOUR LIFE WILL BE MORE JOYFUL TOO! TRY IT! IT IS WORTH IT! YOU WILL KNOW HOW TO TREAT OTHER PEOPLE OTHER THAN THE CHRISTIANS WHO DON'T HAVE ANY PATINECE WITH OTHERS ONLINE!
