You're time frame is in the right ballpark and your activity level seems to be decent.

A few things you need to consider:

First, make sure that you are getting enough calories. If your caloric intake dips too much your body goes into starvation mode which triggers fat storage and stops weight loss.

Second, I would try to incorporate some type of strength training program. If you don't belong to a gym you can search on line for different strength training exercises you can do around the house. This is important because weight loss is almost never all fat. Scale weight loss is typically a combination of muscle and fat. When you lose muscle you are lowering your lean body mass thereby reducing the amount of calories that you burn at a resting rate (i.e. when you are doing nothing). If you incorporate some type of weight training you can maintain this lean body mass and keep your calorie engine running at a high level.

Finally, I think avoiding processed sugars is a great idea for you. However, don't be afraid of carbohydrates. Our bodies need carbohydrates to function properly and your muscles are starving for them after you exercise. Try to focus on foods that have a low glycemic index such as whole grain breads. Don't cut out carbs entirely: it simply isn't healthy and most of the weight lost is water weight that will simply come back.

Good luck

Maybe great excerise but sounds very boring. You can realistically expect to loose 5 pounds a week - more than that would be unhealthy. So your goal sounds reasonable. Try different kinds of exercise 10-15 minutes each day where you break a sweat - that means you're burning fat. Eat small portions every 2-3 hours so you are NEVER hungry (hunger causes your body to store fat!). Try eating more vegetables, fruits and grains and WAY FEWER meats and sweets (fats and carbs). Good luck!!

If you control your portions, and cut sweets out, you could easily lose 20 pound before summer. Doesn't sound very exciting, but if you're going up stairs you need to, it's a nifty way of getting a workout in, and you're probably more likely to keep doing it.

Be a kid once again! When eating out, order some sort of child’s sandwich, pizza or cheese burger. Then you can have the treats you're keen on, while reducing your portions and lowering your calorie intake.

for your diet, look for low carbohydrates instead of low sugar. buy a pacemaker and try to walk 10000 steps a day, dont jump up and down, or try to get it up there, take your regular daily steps. if you dont have 10000 steps a day go on a run until you get there.

Swap a bowl of pasta for the bowl of vegetables. You can preserve to 200 calories by cutting the starch and adding vegetables.

Not even close. That only takes 4 or 5 minutes.

probably, but it depends on how fast your metabolism, when you have a slower metabolism it makes you lose weight slower. and also going on a diet can make your metabolism slower.
