Do you oil your Hair before combing and why?

Yes.. It helps to detangle the hair.. Be sure to use the best oil for your hair. One that works for my daughter and myself is Wild Growth (white bottle w/ green letters)...

Only if too messed up, to help combing without breaking the hair. I use baby oil in spray, or a comb the mess away spray by Johnson's kids series. It has a flowery sent but who cares anyway!!!

Less breakage, helps distributes the oil to the hair better. Makes combing easier.

Well i am a professional beautician and if you have tangled and hard to comb out hair then do it before but if you have no trouble combing then do it after because it can cause you to have really bad split ends.

No... I massage my scalp. I oil my hair once after every wash. I don't want it to get greasy, just silky and bouncy.

no, i do put leave in conditioner somtimes if its dry. i don't think that counts as "oiling" though.

No, because when you grease your hair it has no bounce
