I am 25 years old, I am weight training 3-4 days a week for about an hour each session. How long will it take to start seeing results?? Any other advice to speed up the weight loss process?

When I first started training it took about 6 weeks. It's hard to keep dedicated during that period, but once you start seeing results you'll get excited and want to do it more.

You MUST do cardio to lose weight. Do at least half an hour a day of something semi-intense, like a bike on a fairly high resistance, jogging, or an illiptical machine.

Diet is crucial, too. NO fast food EVER, almost no saturated fat, NO trans fat (aka hydrogenated oil), low fat overall, easy on the carbs, no meals after 7, low fat meats that are high in protein (fish is best, and chicken is great too if you cut off all the fat), easy on the sugar (but don't replace all your sugar with artificial sweeteners because they're very bad for you- just let go of some of the sweet stuff in your diet), cut back on sneaky calories (you'd be amazed how big a difference it makes if you stop drinking soda/coffee/tea).
