That was not smart. What I used to do: 1) admit I was wrong, didn't study enough, won't happen again. 2) Look really sad (which I usually was) and tell them my score. 3) Reassure them it would never happen again.
I know that sounds really devious, but I meant every word of it, always. This just happened to work out to my advantage, because it made it so they wouldn't yell at me.

It is a very positive sign that you feel bad that you lied. You need to go on and tell your dad. Let him know that you are truly sorry for lying and talk to him in a mature way. Yelling at you is not going to help the situation at all! Some parents yell a lot because that is what their parents did to them. Always tell the truth and maybe get a tutor to help you with math.

Tell your dad, get it over with, it won't be worse than what you are going through now and he's bound to find out eventually. The longer it takes the worse it will be when he does find out.

if you feel bad about lying to your dad maybe you shouldn't because if you lie to him he'll never trust you again and you want that to happen so i would say that you should tell him the true and tell that it wont happen again. after you tell him i hope you learn from your mistake.

good luck

Tell you father in a letter, Explain what you did, why you did it and how you feel about it. He may not get as mad.
