If I wear regular dental braces, and will have'em for another year, can I still enter the military next month? Not invisalign...the metal kind...lol.

By the way, if you answer yes, please give a reason and if you say no, also give a reason. Some people tell me yes and some people tell me no, but I don't know which is true. Thanks

Normal dental braces are not a reason to delay entry into the military. My wife wore them and served six years in the Army and numerous dental checkups and physicals and was never asked one question about them.

I positioned 3 sons in dental braces, so have been there completed that. certainly one of my sons had an overbite and a great area between his 2 front tooth - it took like 3 a million/2 years for him wearing braces in the past he had beeeeeyooooootiful tooth. :D 24 years isn't too old for something. *grins* you're nonetheless youthful sufficient to have some relaxing, lol, once you get your braces, get the 'glow at night' bands. At night, you are able to turn the bathing room easy on and grin at your self in the mirror for a jiffy -- then turn off all the lights furniture on your place and walk around with a great grin -- the only element every person else can see would be tooth looking like they are floating by using the air! My sons did that, and that i nonetheless LMAO remembering it. a pair of years wearing dental braces now could be no longer so undesirable in any respect, thinking the advantageous smile you will choose in an prolonged time in existence. this is efficient. :) Myst

your best bet is to call and ask a recruiter for the service you plan on entering
