Seriously, I mean it's unreasonable to hate homosexuals, but some of you have no problem with that. It's unreasonable to deny women abortions, but hey, no quams here, right? It's unreasonable to let your kids go fight in a war where they kill people, though your whole stance on killing is that one ought never to do it, but hey, if George Dubyuh Bush gives you the go ahead, you still do it. It's unreasonable to hold up stem cell research when it could save lives and improve the quality of life for others, but why bother with that when it means utilizing fetus' that are as good as furtilizer otherwise, right?

I am really very sorry that you are having trouble understanding that it is not alright to blanket all people in one catergory. It seems as though your own predjudices are making you a very close minded and unhappy person. And let's make one thing clear - those choosing to serve in the armed forces should be given the respect that is due to them. It is because of others like them that you and I can sit here and freely voice our opinions. Whether a soldier agrees or disagrees with the cause ,they choose to respect the authority that they serve under.
I guess that doesn't really answer your question so here goes--my answer is YES. If God asks me to do something and I have affirmed that it is really of God than I will follow and obey. Because God will never ask you to do something that goes against His nature.

God will not give a commandment by which he isn't prepared to make a way to accomplish that which he directs his disciples to do. God has directed his children to get married and fill the earth with people. You cannot do that by having sex with the same gender. A woman who has an abortion is taking away a souls chance at living and learning upon this earth. I do not know enough about stem cell research to give an answer on that subject. But the lord has no problem with people using their brains to help other people just as long as it is done with out harm to someone.

Well, first off, God doesn't tell anyone to do things that are stupid...perhaps unreasonable, but not stupid....as you are alluding to.

Your right, it is wrong to hate anyone...even homos.

However, I bet that you agree that no one has the "right" to take some else's life? Correct? Then it can't be right for a mom to kill her child just because it is inconvenient for her to have it.

You sound like a real idiot to me. If we do not make a STRONG presence in the middle east and other arabic countries around the world, then we better prepare for suicide bombings here in the US. We MUST be ACTIVE, VIGILANT, and STRONG if we are going to keep the terrorist were they belong....in the sand with the camels. You sound like one of those people that just wants to stick his head in the sand and just let everything fix itself....it just doesn't work like that. To have the power to do good and not..now that is an injustice. I guess you think that Sadam should have just been allowed to take Kuwait and us do nothing because it wasn't our business.

As for using human fetuses.....they are call "human" fetuses for a reason....because they are HUMAN. How do you define human life....a person that can walk, talk and see....if that is the case then that sounds a whole like what Hitler did to "undesirables" in Nazi Germany. The insane, the blind, the deaf, the lame......all biology experiments to him, and it sounds like you to.

Well, I hope that I have answered all of your questions...got any more?

Telling us to jump off a bridge would be condoning and encouraging suicide, but God has said not to take your own life, so, No, I wouldn't do it, because it wouldn't be God telling me to do it.

And, you talk as if your beliefs aren't unreasonable...
An explosion created the universe... when was the last time you saw a terrorist suicide plane crash or bomb put together the twin towers? When was the last time you observed a monkey turn into a human? Oh, single cell organisms.... yeah, you've heard it before, that part of evolution has been disproved...

Homosexuality? People were born homosexuals, so we shouldn't disdain them, but it has been proven that a person's religious beliefs stem from birth and childhood, but homosexuals can disdain and speak hatespeech toward us?
and that's supposed to make sense???

Give me a break...

"it's unreasonable to hate homosexuals," - yes it is, but we don't hate them, we abhor their sin.

"It's unreasonable to deny women abortions" - No, it's unreasonable to deny someone life.

"It's unreasonable to let your kids go fight in a war where they kill people" - if that were true, then you wouldn't have the right to sit there and say so ... you can thank war for your freedom.

"It's unreasonable to hold up stem cell research when it could save lives" - Most everyone agrees with that, the media gave us false information on where the actual cells would come from. Now we all know, and it's a moot point.

And to answer your question, God would never ask us to do something unreasonable ... your problem is not that its unreasonable, your problem is you don't agree with how He's running things. Don't like it? Go create your own world :)

He told Abraham to sacrifice his son and that seemed to come out okay... It's definitely unreasonable to hate homosexuals, it is also a sin. It's unreasonable to kill pre-born babies and hide behind pleasant sounding words like choice. I'm thankful people 2 generations ago sent their children to fight hitler, if they hadn't you probably wouldn't have to worry about Bush now which may be worth it in your mind, I don't know. Harvesting fetus's for their stem cells is a problem, I'm fine with the use of adult stem cells.

None of this is in God's word! We are not called to hate homosexuals buts we are called to hate the sin itself. Abortions are another way of saying I'm am going to take a life. So is the war because war is unpeaceful. And you are also playing with God's timing of life by stem research. That is just another way of trying to prove God to be untrue.

might as well. I like free-falling anyway!

-so it's unreasonable to dislike someone because of their beliefs, or because they go against nature? try telling me everyone isn't guilty of one of those...

-war is a choice you make. once you are no longer a minor, you can choose to go or not to go to war, and accept penalties.

-what's a quam? and I don't really know where you're going with that stem cell research thing. if it's medicinal, fine. as long as it doesn't toy with the laws of nature.

I don't know of ANY Christian that hates homosexuals. Although they may disagree with their choices.

Example:
Do you disagree with my disagreeing with homosexuality? Does that mean you hate me? Of course not. It means you don't agree.

The Bible says that he who claims to be a Christian and hates his brother, is not a Christian at all. "Christian"=child of God.
