Depends on how crowded your teeth are.
Can't tell from your avatar!
Much of the time, they don't need to - they can just straighten them. But if you have sever crowding, they may want to.
I had to have some taken out, but everyone says I've got a great smile now :-D

It all depends on what the orthodontist thinks after he reviews the x-rays and the molds of your teeth. When I went to my first consultation, my orthodontist just looked in my mouth and told me then that I was probably gonna end up having extractions and then when I went back after he reviewed my records he confirmed that I would have to have 4 teeth extracted. I just had these extractions 2 weeks ago. I had all first four molars removed. These are the teeth behind the "canine" teeth. There is nothing wrong with getting extractions for braces and there is nothing to be scared of since they use novacaine and you might experience little to no pain afterwards. Plus these gaps will close up in due time. I wish you the best of luck. Email me if I can be of further help.

This all depends on your situation. Has the orthodontist made impressions of your teeth yet? He/she will also take x rays of your mouth. Then, he/she will decide what to do.
Back in the 60s, when I got braces, I had 4 teeth removed. This was common back then. My mouth is small and the orthodontist felt that in order to straighten my teeth, the 4 1st bicuspids had to be removed.
But, wait and see what the orthodontist says.

it depends on the degree of jut that your teeth have, the amount of space in your mouth, if there is overcrowding, or crowding at all, where your teeth have to move to, how the movement will take place...
it all depends on your individual teeth. talk to your ortho about it, and discuss what the best options are.
i had to have my wisdom teeth pulled before they put my braces on. for spacial purposes, and just in case they were to erupt later on and move the work that had been done

If your teeth are severly overcrowded then probably yes. Something you will also need to think about is if you are over crowded now you will also have to have your wisdom teeth removed. We remove #5,12,21,28 for overcrowding purposes on about 2 patients a week.

It depends.I had to take 4out in order for "make space" for ur teeths to move into place so that it wud be "aligned" properly. But my sister only needed to take 2out.So it all depends on how much "space" ur mouth allows u.Mayb u wudnt need to take out any, only way to tell is lettin ur dentist check ur teeth, and confirming it.

it depends. if he/she feels there won't be enough space to fit the braces in, then it's quite possible. i wouldn't worry about it though. they usually numb your teeth and pull it out so it's painless

It just depends on your x-rays. Everyone is different.
