Do white males have trouble dating/marrying black females?
I'm a black female, but am very interested in white males. However, it seems as if they are "undercover" about trying to date me. I mean they make good money, already established...what is up with that?

It's because of racism from both sides. Many whites still feel uneasy about interracial dating (especially older generation) and many blacks are strongly against datings whites (especially the females when it comes to white women). But if you are interested in white males, whose to say anything's wrong with it? Go for it! You may want to try dating white men who aren't in high powered positions, because usually its them with the conservative families to be really honest. Most white males wouldn't have a problem dating black females, it's all up to the individual. Some are scared because some bigoted blacks will do anything they can to interrupt your date and interfere, and they don't want to get involved with that. Usually that problem is here in the US, but try dating a European immigrated man, usually they aren't so bigoted when it comes to interracial dating.

I am so sorry For you on this one I really am...All that comes to mind is that racism is still an issue today. This is a sad and horrible truth. Why people focus on color never made sense to me but who am I to judge. The men you are choosing even though he may say he is cool with the relationship that fact is it can be very difficult socially. Almost like being gay. People are so quick to label and judge any more it is horrible but it can make a relationship very hard. All I can do is honestly wish you the absolute best and hope that this can really work for you.. All that should matter is how you feel for one and other...

Its not just white males/black females. Sometimes it is hard for people to do things that they feel society may not approve of.
Ex: homosexual who won't come out, or women who choose career over family, or the opposite, women who choose family over career.
Not everybody is as secure as you are. You need to look for a man who is regardless of race.

lol! This is funny...I've been single for about the past two years, officially. However, lately I've been kinda liking black females more and more. I dunno, I like any color, but it's just taken some time for me to realize that they are just as good as any other girls.
No, I'm not trying to be undercover, I'm trying to break the shell I once had around me. At least try to expand my selections.

Wow...for the first time I can be honest about this because you ASKED my opinion...
A lot of the women in your culture tend to be more dominant...wait don't get mad I'm not done....because they HAVE to be...a Lot of Black Mothers are in a situation where the father leaves so they have to be both mom and dad....but when a guy comes into the picture some women don't let go of this dominence and it can get annoying...
I'm not saying you are this way...it's just this is EXACTLY what I've had a lot of white guys tell me....

I would say that this depends on how they were raised and also what region of the country you live in. A lot of ppl in the south are still prejudice against what they call "mixing races". Personally if a man is trying to hide a relationship with you then I think he isnt worth your time!!!

It all depends on the man,I know alot that don't mind what race as long as they like the person.I know a few married couples while man black woman.

Most people don't venture outside of their cultural comfort zone when dating. Love may be blind, but people are not, and many people just cannot get past the superficial.
