I'm really nerves of meeting my boyfriend's big family on sep1, any advice can you give me, and I'm makeing a flowers arrangement for his mother, a small one I wanted to get real flowers, but didn't have the money, but only had to get fake ones the ones in doller store, do you think she will like it, and a small candy bag for his 8 year old brother and 12 year old sister

Don't buy the family! Don't start off like that. First of all you guys have been dating for three years and this is the first time you will be meeting his family. Sounds fishy. She may have allergies so you can't do the fresh flower thing the kids may not be able to have candy. Girl be yourself and go meet the family never do the gift thing on a first meet.

I don't see what would be wrong with that. You can buy very pretty flowers real cheap now. The arrangement will also look beautiful long after dinner that day. The treat bags are a good idea also. The most important thing is to be yourself. Don't try too hard to impress. I am sure his family will love you.

I think the flower arrangement will be really nice because it will last longer and be a memento of your big meeting with the family. So make it very nice.
Small candy bags are what kids like so that is a good choice too. Sounds to me like you will make a good impression!

The candy bag that a real good idea (kids love candy) but make sure they can have candy (ask bf), furthermore ask your bf what are some of the things his mother like and I would buy something (not expensive) that would complement her style. That would be a nice "ice breaker" for the both of you it just show you put real effort into getting something for her and you did alittle background check on her by way of her son. Just be yourself and remember your sleeping with her son and your not sleeping with her. So dont try so hard to make her like you. She'll pick up on that right away. During your conversation dont be afraid to voice your opinion. And dress real nice not showing to much, but be proud of what you have show his mother that you have confidence in everything you do and say. "GOOD LUCK" Actually if you remember tell me how it went later on down the road.

I wouldnt do the fake flowers, the candy idea is cute. But I would do a book according to age and interests. For mom, I would do a scented candle or a gift bag from Bath and Body Works or something like that. They range from $15-$45. Keep it sweet and simple.

Don't worry just be yourself.A small flower arrangement sounds just right.She will be able to enjoy the flowers longer if they are artificial.Candy is always a big hit with younger brothers and sisters.

I wouldn't do fake flowers. You can get a nice dinner plate at Target or something really cheap or every week till then save a couple of dollars and then when you go see her you should have enough money.

its not how much money you spend that should count but why and where . if its truly coming from the heart that's all that matters and being your self no matter what . and if your really worried and the flowers you got for her just tell her that you wanted them to last for ever for her . or something like that . best of luck to you .

You know what.........doing all those cute little things is just that........cute.....just be yourself, if they like you then great, but no amount of sucking up will make them like you anymore or any less. I met mine after a year of us being together and by being myself they love me, I didn't do anything special for them, just talked to them. Very nice people by the way. Impression are a lasting thing, but being yourself will work wonders!!!!!!!!!! Good luck!!!!!!!! :)

I am sure that they will love you.You sound like a very nice person.Just remember to be yourself and stay relaxed.You will do just fine.Just know in your heart that you both love each other and make each other happy and that's all that matters.Good luck,and try to have fun to.
