Three years ago, he molested my little sister, and he hurted her emotionally and physically. I think he did it twice, but my youngest sister was too dumb to even report this to anyone. When his wife(my oldest sister) found out, she was furious and kicked him out of our house (they live in the same house as I and my parents). Several days later, she decided to forgive him. They did talk over about it in their room. He probably said something very sweet to her, so she could forgive. To me, my oldest sis is very naive and, well, not smart.
My youngest sister seemed to forgive him already which surprised me a bit because she hardly forgives me or anyone in my family. I guess she moves on with her life.
My mom know about this, but she didn't really do anything about it. The problem is.I still hate him with all my heart.
if i call the cops, my sister won't help me be a witness. the guy said he might sue me for doing something for disgracing his reputation..um, okay. I ddn't get it

You need to call the police NOW!!!
THIS WILL NOT STOP.
Do this for the protection of your little sister, if she is underage (I'm assuming she is) she needs your help. Your older sister and your mom is a moron (no offense, dude).
There are people, either in Social Services, Children's Advocates, or like agencies that are trained to talk with children to find out exactly what happened and treat them accordingly.
If you, or any other member of your family, sits by knowing or suspecting this is going on and does nothing; you are an enabler, and are just as guilty as your sick a** brother-in-law.

The statute of limitations is still in effect for this felony. How old is your sister now? Is she old enough to make an informed decision about prosecuting and testifying? And your older sister may forgive her husband but she does not have the right to forgive him for the crime. Only your little sister can do that.
Personally I'd report it. He can't successfully sue you for reporting something that really happened. Don't fall for the intimidation. If he did it once he is a prime suspect for a repeat performance.
Good luck to you and your family.

Your parents are breaking breaking child endangerment laws by knowingly leaving her in a situation where she will be molested. It is their responsibility to protect her, and they are not doing it! And aside from the law, they are betraying her by letting this happen, and that is going to lead to even more emotional damage. Your brother has a serious problem, and probably isn't going to stop without a serious intervention. I think that you should call DSS yourself and tell them what is happening...it seems doubtful that your parents actually called them, bc they would have sent caseworkers over to your house to interview everyone in the family, so you would have known about it. Kudos to you for wanting to step up and protect your little sister when no one else will...it sounds like she really needs you!

your sister does not have to testify in open court unless he denies the allegations, and it goes to trial. Once an investigation is under way if he make any admission and charges are filed its probably going to be reduced and a plea bargain agreed upon anyway. Don't worry about civil consequences. Remember as long as you had probable cause to report this, and reasonable person would act the same, base on your information, there are no civil consequences

If the child who was molested has forgiven him, it is very possible she is still being molested and has twisted that into love or guilt. ( personal opinion anyway)
And any mother who would forgive and go on needs to be shot in my book and is worst than the person who did the molesting, since she should be demanding him going to jail.
I would report it, it is true so he can't sue you for telling the truth. Molesters need to be reported, period

Just tell your little sister you support her decision. You're there for her. If she changes her mind you will stand by her. And that you have her back.
The enablers and molester will likely be discarded as your little sister grows up. Don't be on that list too.

One can not be sued for calling the police and informing them of a crime.
Call them.
This is the first step in your sisters healing
(even if she doesn't want it)

Someone is very, very sick here. You waited too long to report it. Your little sis is like most girls, she don't want to start trouble and most likely, she is afraid to say any more.
