In England we punish people who do this by pointed looks. It may not sounds like much, but if you're English, god, it really hurts.
Everyone in the queue looks at the pusher in, with their eyebrows raised. Looking sort of startled that someone should be so rude. Usually the pusher realises and apologises and slinks to the back.

Most of the time I just let them be. People like that probably have enough problems. I am usually never in that big of a hurry anyway. I know it’s rude, but is it really worth getting into it with a possible psycho? Then again, there are some people that just push your buttons. At those rare times, I get the itch to say something.

You were right to not object. She was out-of-it, and most likely didn't even notice there was a line.
If a sober person took cuts, I would say "I'm waiting in line here. Go back there." and indicate the end of the line.

I went this morning and it took approximately half-hour to get my food because of the fact they have been so busy. appears like the boycott if backfiring a touch. different ingredient that seems bizarre is the gay community needs each gay couple to bypass to Chick Fil A on Friday and share a kiss for the time of their meal. would not that recommend that they are going to be giving money to the enterprise they are boycotting? Did they actually think of this via?

Sounds like this person probably was not aware she was cutting in line.poor thing, you were wise to just let her be. However, when a person of sound mind attempts this, they need to be told. i often just say the line starts back there, or I am in line. This usually works.

I am quite non-confrontational in such situations. I'll let it go. Now if I was getting late, and if I was in that kind of mood to go right ahead with it, and if she was right in front of me, I'd politely tell her that perhaps she isn't aware that she cut the line?

If I felt there was something unbalanced about her (either mental or maybe drinking) I would let it go. It just wouldn't be worth it to have the conversation with a person like that for me.

I would have politely said, "Pardon me, but the end of the line is back there," while gesturing to the person at the end of the line.
