This has to be feasible in a school. Examples of what we've already thought of are: serving an american style breakfast, showing an american film and charging people to see it, selling doughnuts, having a prom night... and by the way, we're looking for really original (but reasonably easy) ideas.

Have a Western night. You could drape red, white and blue crepe paper around the place, serve burgers, hot dogs and fries, say that people can turn up in fancy dress (just cowboy hats, boots and jeans or skirts nothing too fancy!) You could charge for entry and the food to raise money. I'm sure there'll be someone who owns a Country and Western CD, but I'd try and find a more up-beat one - you don't want to depress everyone!! If you don't fancy the music just play anything the kids would enjoy. Figure out a few games for the kids, just simple ones like hoopla or pin the tail on the donkey. You could even get the children to design some of the decorations so that it builds their interest up before the actual night. Anyways, just an idea! Good luck whatever you do!

Have a cultural evening/day all the children have to dress up as all the immigrants that came to America (as is is Mongoloid society) and have the foods they borought with then i.e. pizza, Italian - hot dog German etc
