If you don't want to do the work yourself, you should hire a professional genealogist; a google or yellow pages search should turn up some in your area.
If you don't have the money to hire a professional (or don't want to) and don't want to do the research yourself, you're pretty much stuck.

You can hire a professional genealogist to do it for you, but that's not half of the fun. I charge $50/hour and it's a 10 hour minimum with no guarantees. Honestly, I'm much cheaper than most. There is someone I know well in Montreal who has a $5000 retainer and that only gets you 25 hours of research.
Instead, hook up with your local genealogy society and see what kind of resources you have in your area. Your ancestors aren't going anywhere, so if it takes you a few years to get it done no problem. The records are out there, it's just up to you to find them. This is also a great family project where you can work with several relatives and have a whole lot of fun finding out about your family's history. The reality is that we can fill in the boxes for you, but that's not history. You can find out more about your family by interviewing older relatives, distant cousins, digging through attics, and reading local histories. I fill in boxes and give you a nice book with a big tree that you can frame and a CD that you can pull up on your computer. You get to create flesh and blood embodiments of your ancestors and really do them justice.

Hey Frank,
You do your ancestors an injustice by not discovering your roots yourself. The expense is outragous to have someone do this for you, unless you happen to be rich. Then, if you are, here are some sites where they will be happy to take your money.
For $30.00 you can buy Genealogy Software that will help you find tree branches for your ancestors. A genealogist will do that, then prove each one. And, you will know nothing about them at all. By doing my own tree, I have learned about my ancestry, now understand a Family tree and Generations expanding by a factor of 2 for each. When you buy the Software, you get a few months on the Pay sites for Free too. If you have 30 bucks a month, you can get all kinds of information open to you for an extended period of time.

You are dreaming, child.
Fish won't jump into your creel, firewod won't chop and stack itself, super-models in bikinis will not crop up like mushrooms every time you unlimber your camera and there isn't a secret system to let you win at roulette. You either do the work yourself or hire someone. Washing your car is like that. Mowing your lawn is like that. Fly fishing, stamp collecting, coin collecting, photography and gourmet cooking are like that.
While I'm at it, the Nigerian Oil Ministry doesn't need your help to spirit cash out of the country, you can't lose weight while eating all the food you want, and there isn't anyone named "Cheri" who thinks you are cute from your profile and wants you to call her at 1-900-sex-talk.
You might call all of your aunts and great aunts to see if any of them have an interest ingenealogy. (75% of genealogists are women.) If any have, and you are VERY, VERY polite, they may share their data with you.
