Absolutely adorable! I have never tried this before. Please have a forgiving spirit with your BF and I will leave you with this.
The Prayer of St.Francis says it best...
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Oh love the rain, especially on a tin roof or if you can sit outside and hear it hit the tree leaves. Sitting IN the rain is only fun when it's warm though. Do you have a covered porch? If so, that was very discourteous to you, he could've at least tried if that's what makes you happy.

Not weird at all. My daughter and I still skip in puddles and run through raindrops.
Don't sweat it, though. Not everybody communes with nature the same way. Did he have to be somewhere and not have time to clean up/change? Maybe that was a factor.
Whatever you do, don't feel like freak because you enjoy the rain. Honestly, it's beautiful, and if this guy isn't on the same page, maybe you need to move on.
My daughter talked to me about some boy issues last night and here's what her brilliant young mind came up with:
"people are like puzzles, all different pieces from different parts of their life come together to make the whole, and there's one piece missing - some person is the piece that fits my puzzle; the tricky part is making sure that whatever shape my piece is fits into his puzzle." (she makes me so proud)
Maybe you need to give strong consideration to whether his piece fits into your puzzle and yours into his.
Good luck.

There is a time and place for everything. Sitting in the rain, or playing in the rain, should be sponatious. Let's say you both were on your way home from the movies,,, and started walking and it rained,,,, Best time to use the rain as a sexual stimulant. Time and place. No, you are not wierd,,, he is just not as romantic as you want him to be.

That's unfortunate. My wife and I both love to sit on the porch and watch the rain. The heavier, the better. It;s soothing.

How long have you been together? It takes time for both of you to get used to the other's ways. You'd know best if he seems inflexible.
That seems like a little thing to me, and probably something not to overreact about. Sitting on the front porch in the rain may just have to be your thing. You don't have to share everything.

Here's what I think...most of us have something that I call one of "life's little pleasures". One of mine is the smell of pinon wood smoke on a cold snowy morning. Another is a tall, cold Coke & lime. If sitting on the porch in the rain is one of your "life's little pleasures", then so be it. If it brings you pleasure then let it.
