Aloe vera has no sunblock properties. It is only good for sunburns later and even then it only removes the sting, not the damage.

Aloe vera gels (at least all the ones I've seen) do NOT contain SPF. Look for sunblocks with SPF of 30 to protect your skin. Aloe vera will help ease the burning sensation of a sunburn and helps your skin heal.

No aloe Vera is a natural medicine. Its only for after a sunburn. Its also good for cuts and scrapes, as long as the cut or scrape is not in need of medical attention. Than the doctor should always be the judge. If you have a aloe vera plant at home, up can just crack one of the arms, squeezing the juice on the area that needs healing attention.

It is not a sunblock, for that you need to look for something that has an SPF, sun protection factor. Aloe is good for a sunburn though, it moisturizes the skin and keeps it from peeling so much, which is painful.
